Anchoring Seminar April 4-5
The anchoring and mooring seminar was well attended. Approximately 20 members turned out for the discussion and video on Thursday evening. The turnout for the Saturday morning practical session was not as good but one new member had an opportunity to learn some new skills. If there are any members who were unable to make the practical session and who would still like to have a practice run, please call Jon at 537-1222 or e-mail the cruise captain: ssicruise@yahoo.com.

Several boats went over to Montague for practice in picking up a mooring and to enjoy a social hour in the park shelter. The power lines that run over the harbour were being worked on and we were prevented from approaching the park docks until later in the afternoon . So the mooring practice came in handy. As usual, the social hour in the shelter was fun. We had a good fire, good snacks and good company. Most boats spent the night in Montague and returned Sunday morning.
