What is there to tell? Not
much really. We have had two races so far, the first got
as far as Long Harbour before
being abandoned so that we could
return to the
club house for a 1400
meeting. The second race had a delayed start to await
the wind and then a gentle
drift down Ganges Harbour and an even more
gentle drift towards Welbury
Spar.
In the first race we had a
remarkable 12 boats out. In the second race we had 6
boats out. Out of all this
participation only one boat completed the course and
this was ELECTRA in the second race.
So much for high winds stormy
seas, etc. that is intended to make this series
so much fun. Maybe we will do
better this week.
To add a little to this report I have attached the TOTAL POINTS chart for 2004.
