EVENT: Fall Work Party

November 12, 2022 @ 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

Saturday, November 12 will be the Fall Work Party.  Start time is 8:30.

The list of Foreshore and Docks tasks is not huge this year:
Remove all growth between wood rails and concrete  4-6 people
Clean and test lights in transformer boxes  2 people
Check dock lights and photo cells  2-3 people
Clean all docks 4-6 people

The list of House and Grounds tasks is as follows:

General raking and vegetation clean up including some Blackberry removal…  app. 8-10 people required, bring garden implements and gloves

Clearing Drains on the grounds and parking are raking as well as pot hole filling… app. 6 people needed, bring rakes, shovels and if possible a wheel barrow

Clubhouse tidying, windows, trophies, cupboards… 4 people needed

Outside windows and gutters, inspect outside of clubhouse and upper shed for signs of possible vermin entry… 6 people

Gatehouse tidy up… 1 person

We need 4 people to prepare snacks etc. in the clubhouse, ingredients will be provided

Chris Gadsby will be coordinating the H&G tasks, in the absence of the Vice Commodore.  Contact him if necessary through communications@saltspringsailing.ca or use his contact info in the yearbook.
