Marine Radio Operator Course

The fall offering of the Power Squadron marine radio course will be happening Nov. 17-18 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in the Clubhouse.
Other attendees will include new members of our local volunteer marine rescue unit as well as several GISS students.
The cost of the course and manual is $100 payable to the Gulf Islands Marine Rescue Society. This is less expensive than taking the same course online through the Canadian Power Squadron web site and way more fun as a group. You can even ask questions of a real live person and practise calls with classmates.
