EVENT: Power Squadron Radio Evening

Join the Power Squadron for a radio evening with Brian Keir—an information session on the new Digital Selective Calling – ‘DSC’ – function of Marine Radios. This function enables digital calling between vessels as well as Digital Distress Calling for emergencies.
Many boaters who obtained their ROC-M (Restricted Operators Certificate – Maritime) many years ago will not be familiar with this function. We will be reviewing its purpose, implementation and use at this evening session. 7 pm start. Questions? Contact Michael Clark: secretary@saltspringsailing.ca
