Report and Q&A on Phase 1 Results of the Clubhouse Renewal Options

Pete McGovern, Chair – Long Term Planning (LTP) Uplands Committee

All members are expected to attend one of these important information sessions to learn about the 4 options being presented by the LTP committee for possible Clubhouse renewal. There are 2 sessions in March for your convenience.  If you haven’t already attended a session, here’s your chance to find out what it’s all about! Light refreshments will be served.

Saturdays March 11 and 25, 11:00 am – 12:30 pm

Spring 2023 will be decision time, with the Club Membership being requested to vote on how we proceed with LTP Phase 2, thus choosing the direction for a new committee.

We are looking for people to sit on this new committee.  Please contact the Commodore (below) if you want to be part of this new committee.

The new Phase Two committee will be responsible to:

  • Develop a budget for design and engineering costs for Board approval
  • Develop a detailed conceptual building design suitable for presentation to the Trust and CRD
  • Incorporate their feedback to produce a detailed cost estimate, timeline and funding model.

Once this process is concluded, the Club Membership will again be asked to vote, this time on Phase 3, including Clubhouse detail design and construction. Note that no construction can start until our present mortgage is paid out in April 2025.
